Who is the Ghost Writer?

The author of this blog, Sara Mishra, has a mental health condition that results in her to have believed in concepts that are outside the bounds of normal reality. In this case, she believed that psychics were real and that she was being mind controlled by another individual, who she nicknamed the “Ghost Writer” because of her belief that he was capable of controlling her writing.

However, psychic phenomenon is still controversial and difficult to prove. Maybe this would even be considered a delusion from a time when Sara Mishra had a different set of mental health symptoms. At this point, it would be better to think of the “Ghost Writer” as being the result of an alter ego created by Sara Mishra’s mind, and the posts that were “Ghost Written” were manifestations of Sara Mishra’s own experiences, not a separate entity’s.

I, Sara Mishra, am setting the record straight because part of this blog is about my personal management of my mental health condition, even though it largely is meant to focus on abstract advice based on the lessons learned from my condition. I think I must acknowledge, for better or for worse, that by contemporary understanding, I am the “Ghost Writer.” And so some of these posts that deal with controversial topics, or are a different style, are in fact from me.

So Sara Mishra is herself the ghost writer, but if you believe in psychics, then maybe there’s still someone out there who did the drafting, as it were.

What do I believe now? That’s a good question. I think that I might still be writing that answer in vivo.

*I believe that I am under mind control and there are different ghost writers that have contributed ideas and perhaps even written parts of this blog. However, I maintain that my ego as Sara Bernick Mishra has written parts of this blog, if not the majority of it.*
